Privacy Policy

Short version: the Site has no accounts, forms, cookies or analytics scripts. Visits are counted only from our own web server logs, your language choice is remembered in your own browser, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how papertraderesearch.xyz (the "Site"), published by the publisher of Papertrade Dossier ("we", "us"), handles information when you visit it. It applies only to the Site, not to third-party websites we link to.

2. Information we collect

We do not ask you for personal information. The Site has no sign-up, login, contact forms, comments, newsletter or payments, and never asks you to connect a crypto wallet.

Limited technical information is processed automatically when you load the Site:

Server logs. Our web server records your IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, referrer and time of the request, as is standard for any web server.
Visit statistics. We count visits by analysing those server logs with GoAccess, an open-source log analyser that runs on our own server. No analytics script runs in your browser and no data is sent to an analytics company. The report shows page views, referrers, browsers, operating systems and approximate country (derived from the IP address with the DB-IP Lite database) and is accessible only to the Site's publisher.
Language preference. When you choose a language, the Site stores a short code (for example en or es) in your browser's localStorage under the key pt-dossier-lang. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

3. How we use information

Technical information is used only to deliver the Site, keep it secure, diagnose errors and prevent abuse. Visit statistics are used only to understand how many people read the Site, which pages and languages they use and where they come from. The language preference is used only to show the Site in the language you picked.

4. Cookies, tracking and analytics

The Site does not set cookies and does not use analytics scripts, advertising pixels, fingerprinting or cross-site tracking. Visit statistics come only from server logs, as described in section 2. If we add any analytics service, we will update this policy before doing so.

5. Third parties

Google Fonts. Fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address and user agent as part of the request. See Google's privacy policy for how it processes this data.
Cloudflare. The Site is delivered through Cloudflare's network, which processes your requests, including your IP address, to deliver the Site and protect it from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how it handles this data.
Hosting provider. The company that hosts the Site processes server logs as described above under its own policies.
External links. Links to block explorers, documentation and news sites take you to services we do not control. Their own privacy policies apply.

We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone for marketing purposes.

6. Data retention

Raw server logs are rotated daily and deleted after 14 days. The visit statistics built from them are kept for as long as the Site runs. The language preference stays in your browser until you clear it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data about you. Because we do not maintain user accounts or profiles, we generally hold no personal data that can be linked to you, but you can contact us to exercise any applicable right.

8. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Security

The Site is served as static files over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we keep the information we handle to a minimum.

10. International visitors

The Site can be accessed worldwide. Technical data processed by our hosting provider, Cloudflare and Google Fonts may be handled in countries other than your own.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision.
